The Washington Transportation Department needs a new turnkey revenue collection system for the state ferry system. The new system must include infrastructure, hardware, software, training, implementation and maintenance to move to a new fare collection system.
The new system must be built on state-of-the-art, industry-standard architectures and support future expansion and integration of new functionality, as business needs change. The system is expected to cost about $6 million. The RFP should be released in December.
