Anteon awarded $32 million in Army, Coast Guard work

Anteon International Corp., Fairfax, Va., has been awarded $32.2 million worth of work from the Army and Coast Guard, the company announced Oct. 13.

For four Army contracts worth about $24.5 million, Anteon will provide security and medical support to the service, including support for the exercises that help the Army better respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear attacks.

For two Coast Guard blanket purchase orders worth about $7.7 million, Anteon will support two offices, the Office of Defense Operations and the Marine Safety, Security and Environmental Protection Port Security Directorate. Anteon will provide support in underwater security, joint doctrine development, maritime homeland defense and policy compliance.

Anteon reported $825.8 million in revenue for 2002 and is ranked No. 14 on Washington Technology's Top 100.
