Computer Sciences Corp. has won $146 million in new task orders under the National Institutes of Health' Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners 2 contract.

Computer Sciences Corp. has won $146 million in new task orders under the National Institutes of Health' Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners 2 contract, the company announced today.

Through the CIO-SP2 task orders, CSC of El Segundo, Calif., performs a wide array of services supporting the departments of Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Transportation and Treasury, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and intelligence agencies.

The CIO-SP2 contract is a governmentwide acquisition agreement managed by NIH.

The contract allows federal agencies to purchase IT products and services as task areas in 10 key areas: CIO support, outsourcing, IT operations and maintenance, integration services, critical infrastructure protection and information assurance, digital government, enterprise resource planning, clinical support, research and studies, and software development.

The new tasks bring CSC's total awards under the contract to more than $500 million since the company was awarded the contract in December 2000.

CSC has about 92,000 employees and annual sales of $11.3 billion.
