Vermont names new CIO

	Robin Siss was appointed Vermont's chief information officer and will head the new Department of Information and Innovation, Gov. Jim Douglas announced.

Robin Siss was appointed Vermont's chief information officer and will head the new Department of Information and Innovation, Gov. Jim Douglas announced.

Siss, 49, has more than 25 years of management experience, according to the governor's office. She replaces Patricia Urban.

Siss has worked for various companies, including IDX Inc., Xerox Corp., Alltel Corp., Central Vermont Public Service and Vermont National Bank.
