General Dynamics wins $2 billion ICE2 contract

General Dynamics Corp. won a $1.95 billion Air Force contract to provide information technology equipment and technical support to the defense and intelligence communities, the company announced June 11.

The Intelligence Information, Command and Control Equipment and Enhancement contract, called ICE2, is a four-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity vehicle with two three-year options.

Under the terms of the contract, General Dynamics will provide preventive and remedial maintenance of hardware and inventory management of commercial, modified commercial and special-design equipment.

The equipment is used by the Defense Department Intelligence Information System and command and control communities to support intelligence and command and control operations, and to provide intelligence data to the National Command Authorities and various civilian agencies and departments.

The Air Force, Army, Navy, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Imagery and Mapping Agency, National Reconnaissance Office and departments of State, Energy and Treasury are among those being supported by the contract.
