Nearly 500 vendors showed off innovative hardware, software and solutions at the 27th annual FOSE show, held April 8-10 at the newly opened Washington Convention Center.
FOSE, the largest information technology exposition serving the government marketplace, drew more than 20,000 IT professionals from business and federal, state and local government agencies. Attendees saw many products demonstrated first-hand at vendor booths, and heard top government and industry leaders discuss the latest technology trends and policies in conference and education sessions.
At FOSE, Mark Forman, associate director for IT and e-government at the Office of Management and Budget, joined a panel of chief information officers from Mexico and Canada to compare approaches to e-government and discuss ways countries can cooperate. Other speakers included Washington Mayor Anthony Williams and Steve Cooper, CIO of the Department of Homeland Security.
FOSE is produced by PostNewsweek Tech Media, publisher of Washington Technology.
