Arizona re-ups ACS for child support services
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a $10.4 million contract renewal from the Arizona Department of Economic Security to continue processing child support payments.
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a $10.4 million contract renewal from the Arizona Department of Economic Security to continue processing child support payments, the company announced April 28.
The contract runs through November.
Under the contract, ACS of Dallas will provide payment processing for child support services. The company also will provide the Department of Economic Security with location and collection services for overdue child support payments.
The Arizona Department of Economic Security and ACS have worked together to process $2 billion in child support payments since the original contract began in 1997, ACS said.
The company processes child support payments in 15 states and Los Angeles County.
ACS, a provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, has about 40,000 employees and annual sales of $3.2 billion.
