Anteon International Corp. has been awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement worth up to $10 million by the Defense Department's Office of the Comptroller, the company said March 6.

In its work supporting the department's Financial Management Modernization Program, Anteon will be designing the program's Web site, including restricted-access and open-access portions, to provide content for and communications about the program.

A key element of Anteon's effort will be to ensure that all of the Comptroller office's Web sites are accessible to persons with disabilities and in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, said Joseph Kampf, president and chief executive officer of the Fairfax, Va., company.

Kampf said the Comptroller's office is a new customer for Anteon.

Anteon, which went public in March 2002, reported revenue of $826 million in 2002. The company has more than 5,700 employees in over 80 offices worldwide.
