Through a General Services Administration blanket purchase agreement, ACS of Dallas received $12.5 million in task order renewals as well as $42.2 million in new task orders. BearingPoint Inc., McLean, Va., won a $23.9 million contract from the Ireland Department of Foreign Affairs to modernize the information technology systems in the nation's passport office. BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting Inc.) will design, install and test equipment for the new system as well as supply new passport booklets and application forms.
CACI International Inc., Arlington, Va., won a $103 million contract to support Navy Enterprise Maintenance Automated Information System Data Center operations. Under the three-year contract, which has two two-year options, CACI will work at the Naval Sea Systems Command site in Norfolk, Va., in conjunction with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center.
Convergys Corp. won a U.S. Postal Service outsourcing contract worth $254.6 million over four years. The contract includes six one-year options, based on the company's performance and the Postal Service's needs, which could boost the value to about $700 million over its life. Under the Contact Center Network Solution contract, Convergys of Cincinnati will provide contact center agents and managers from facilities in Denver and Orem, Utah.
Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles, won a $118 million contract for tax form processing with the Internal Revenue Service. It is the third time the company has won the contract, which lasts nine months and includes nine one-year options. Northrop Grumman also will provide annual program changes based on legislative requirement changes to the tax code, make technology enhancements and refreshment and implement new applications as requested by the IRS to improve its business mission in the submissions processing area. *
