Motorola Inc. of Schaumburg, Ill., and M/A-Com Inc. of Lowell, Mass., have submitted bids as prime contractors leading teams competing for an eight-year, $400 million New York statewide wireless network project. Bids were due Jan. 7.
The team led by Motorola includes Harris Corp., Lockheed Martin Corp., TRW Inc. (now part of Northrop Grumman Corp.), Bechtel Corp., Baran Telecom Inc., IBM Corp., GDP Telecom Inc., Vytek Public Safety Solutions Inc., Buford Goff and Associates and Parsons Brinckerhoff.
The M/A-Com-led team includes General Dynamics Corp., Verizon Inc., Alcatel USA Inc., Black and Veatch, Sun Microsystems Inc., Cisco Systems Inc., LA Group, Niagara Mohawk, Intergraph Inc. and Bear Stearns.
