TSA awards two HR contracts worth $767 million

CPS Human Resource Services will provide recruitment services to TSA, including initial and attrition qualification, recruitment, examination, testing, assessment and staffing of airport security screeners and law enforcement officers. That contract, awarded Dec. 26, is for one year with four one-year options. It has a potential value of $553.6 million, according to TSA's announcement on FedBizOpps.gov.
CPS Human Resource Services is a California agency that specializes in providing human resource management consulting services to public and non-profit agencies.
The second contract was awarded Dec. 12 to Accenture, Hamilton, Bermuda, and is worth $214.8 million over five years for providing benefits counseling, personnel action processing, record keeping, maintaining official personnel folders, providing information and reports to TSA and providing ongoing HR services to all federal employees, supervisors and managers with TSA.
Spokesmen for CPS and Accenture declined to comment on the awards.
