Booz Allen Hamilton wins $57 million DLA work

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. has won a $57 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to continue operating the Survivability and Vulnerability Information Analysis Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., has won a $57 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to continue operating the Survivability and Vulnerability Information Analysis Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, the Defense Department announced Jan. 9.

The three-year contract has one four-year option and one three-year option. This center, sponsored by the Joint Technical Coordination Groups on Aircraft Survivability and Munitions Effectiveness, tracks the survivability of defense aeronautical and surface systems to threat weapons.

"We have been the SURVIAC operator since 1984, and this award allows us to continue to support the department's missions in survivability, combat effectiveness, lethality, homeland security and space technology," said Booz Allen Principal Doug Himberger.

The Defense Supply Center Columbus, Ohio, was the contracting office.
