ACS nets $33M IT outsourcing deal with Riverside, Calif.

Affiliated Computer Services Inc., Dallas, won a four-year, $33.2 million contract from Riverside, Calif., to provide enterprise information technology outsourcing services, the company announced Jan. 28. The contract runs through 2006 and has two two-year options.

ACS has provided IT outsourcing services for Riverside since 1996 and has signed a number of supplemental agreements with the city.

Under the new contract, ACS will still manage the city's IT operations and will provide a broad range of IT services for the city. These services include data center management, help-desk support, application support, network management, desktop support and other consulting services to help the city continue to align IT operations and business objectives.
