Kampf new chairman of industry group

Joseph Kampf, president and chief executive officer of Anteon International Corp., has been elected chairman of the Professional Services Council, an industry group.

Kampf succeeds Paul Lombardi, president and CEO of DynCorp, who becomes immediate past chair. The council's board of directors elected Kampf and other officers Dec. 18. Edward Legasey, chief operating officer of SRA International Inc., was named vice chairman.

Rod Mateer, a partner at Deloitte & Touche, was elected treasurer of the Arlington, Va.-based group.

The board also approved the 2003 executive committee comprised of:
