Oblix Inc., a Cupertino, Calif., developer of identity-based security solutions, is opening a federal government sales office in Silver Spring, Md.
The expansion will support the company's effort to aid government agencies with cybersecurity, as well as addressing concerns about security and access control of government portals.
Oblix has served both commercial and government customers since its founding in 1996, said Shelley Wilson, vice president of marketing. "Now, the federal government has become so important, we've dedicated more resources to it," she said.
