CSC extends missile defense support for $270 million
Under the follow-on contract, Computer Sciences Corp. will continue providing scientific, engineering and technical assistance to the Missile Defense Agency.
Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., has been awarded a follow-on contract, worth up to $270 million, to continue providing scientific, engineering and technical assistance to the Missile Defense Agency, the company announced Oct. 30.
The contract is for two years with an option for an additional year. Companies teaming with CSC on the effort include Science Applications International Corp., San Diego; SYColeman, a division of New York-based L-3 Communications Holdings Inc.; and COLSA Corp., Huntsville, Ala.
CSC services provided to the MDA's Ground-based Midcourse Defense Joint Program Office include acquisition and business management, systems engineering, testing and evaluation, Web engineering and information technology support.
Most of the work will be carried out in Washington, Huntsville and Colorado Springs, Colo.
