Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in emergency management, contingency planning, continuity of operations, medical operations, weapons of mass destruction terrorism and training, and exercise development to his position at NC4. He served more than 20 years in the military and co-authored the "First Responder Chem-Bio Handbook" and served as a consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the development of the Strategic Plan for Terrorism Preparedness in 2000. Prior to joining NC4, Thompson served as a consultant for the EDS Emergency Management Services. </FONT>

APPOINTMENTS

Teamware Group, a provider of intranet, extranet and Internet solutions, named Ari Palttala as director of North American operations to head its corporate expansion in the United States and Canada. Palttala has more than 10 years of senior management experience in U.S. software and systems integration companies. He will work from the Teamware office in Falls Church, Va.
Foundstone Inc., a Mission Viejo, Calif., provider of enterprise vulnerability management software and services, appointed Larry McIntosh to chief marketing officer. He will lead Foundstone's marketing and branding initiatives. McIntosh has more than 20 years of marketing experience, most recently at HNC Software Inc.
Computer Associates International Inc., Islandia, N.Y., appointed Internet security expert and 18-year industry veteran Ron Moritz as senior vice president for its eTrust security solutions brand. Moritz will extend CA's global leadership in the e-business security space to meet customers' rapidly evolving technical and operational requirements, forge new high-value strategic partnerships and help advance industry standards to ensure the continued expansion of e-business activity worldwide. Moritz joins CA after founding Moritz Technology Corp.
Robert Ryan has joined the Global Public Sector of Grant Thornton, an Alexandria, Va., accounting, tax, and management advisory firm, as a senior manager. He comes to Grant Thornton from Booz-Allen & Hamilton.
PROMOTIONS
Vistronix Inc., a McLean, Va., systems integration company, promoted Christopher Winslow to senior vice president and chief operating officer. He will be in charge of all operations and business development.
CDW Government Inc., a Vernon Hills, Ill., subsidiary of CDW Computer Centers Inc., promoted Chris Rother to vice president responsible for leading the company's inside and field sales forces for state and local and education markets. Previously, she was executive director. Rother joined CDW in 1991 and was a member of the original team that launched CDW-G in 1998.
Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., named Tony Patti to lead a newly formed companywide Aerospace/
Defense Council. In this new role, Patti will be responsible for leveraging resources throughout CSC to provide fully integrated services to the company's aerospace and defense clients. Patti will also continue in his role as a senior business development executive for CSC's Technology Management Group, based in Falls Church, Va. He joined CSC in 2000.
ARINC Inc., an Annapolis, Md., transportation communications and systems engineering firm, appointed Randolph Pizzi to the new position of managing director, Asian Operations. Pizzi has more than 15 years of business and marketing experience in the aviation and telecommunications industries. He joined ARINC in 1987 and is currently the company's head of commercial aviation marketing and sales. He led ARINC's Asian business development activity between 1998 and 2001.
Titan Corp., a San Diego provider of comprehensive information and communications solutions and services, elected the following new corporate officers: Al Branch, senior vice president, Systems and Communications Sector; Tom Brennan, senior vice president, Sea and Aviation Engineering Sector; Tony Frederickson, senior vice president, Applied Technologies Sector; Ron Gorda, senior vice president, Information Products Sector; Earl Pontius, senior vice president, Technical Resources Sector; and Joe Saponaro, senior vice president, Civil Sector. Consistent with Titan's focused strategy in national security, two additional senior vice presidents were elected: Paul Sullivan for Business Development and Chuck Saffell for National Security Solutions. Additionally, Michael Paige was named to the position of vice president of government finance and contracts, as well as chief information officer.
