Labor Department re-ups CSC for IT support
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $59 million task order to continue supporting the Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs.
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $59 million task order to continue supporting the Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs information technology systems, the company announced Oct. 21.
The task order was awarded through the National Institutes of Health's governmentwide Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners 2 Contract, the company said.
Under the contract, CSC of El Segundo, Calif., will provide IT support and services for the agency's Black Lung Program's Automated Support Package and the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program's Medical Bill Payment System.
Both programs serve citizens affected by black lung disease and other occupational illnesses, adjudicating and processing workers' compensation claims and benefits for affected people.
CSC has more than 66,000 employees and annual revenue of $11.5 billion.
