Anteon nabs two Army support contracts
The two blanket purchase agreements are worth a total of $40 million.
Anteon International Corp. has won blanket purchase agreements worth a total of $20 million to support two Army organizations, the company announced Oct. 16
Under the agreements, Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will support the Army Materiel Command and its major subcommand, the Communications and Electronics Command.
Through a four-year blanket purchase agreement for the materiel command, Anteon will support implementation of modernized industrial practices throughout the command. The company will assist the command in implementing the so-called lean or Toyota Production System practices in its facilities, including depots, arsenals and ammunition plants to improve their productivity.
Through a 10-year blanket purchase agreement with the Army Communications and Electronics Command, Anteon will provide support in the areas of information technology, systems engineering and telecommunications.
Anteon is a leading IT and systems engineering and integration company that provides support to the government and international sectors.
The company has about 5,500 employees and annual revenue of $715 million.
