<FONT SIZE=2>ORINCON Corporation International</FONT><FONT SIZE=2>, San Diego, announced several executive appointments: </FONT><FONT SIZE=2>Russ Olson</FONT><FONT SIZE=2> to chief of staff, </FONT><FONT SIZE=2>Bill Kincaid</FONT><FONT SIZE=2> to vice president of corporate development and </FONT><FONT SIZE=2>Darryl Weiss</FONT><FONT SIZE=2> to vice president of human resources. Olson, who joined the company in 1999, was previously executive director for staff operations. He is responsible for intra-company communications and ensuring that all operating companies are supported. Previously ORINCON's executive director of corporate development and strategy, Kincaid joined the company in 2001 after 35 years with Lockheed Martin and TRW. He will work with ORINCON's operating companies to implement a future corporate direction. Weiss will be responsible for the development of human resources policy, procedure, benefits structure and strategic human resources operations. Dynamic Telecommunications Inc., a Germantown, Md., provider of high-speed, multi-standard wireless test and measurement solutions, appointed Sergey Dickey to chief technical officer. Dickey will manage DTI's product development efforts for third-generation protocol wireless network monitoring and testing and other emerging wireless applications. He most recently served as vice president of engineering at DTI, and joined the company in 1996.
Christian & Timbers, a New York global retained executive search firm, appointed Stephen Mader as president and co-CEO. Mader has been with Christian & Timbers for eight years, most recently as the firm's president and COO. Jeffrey Christian, chairman and CEO of the firm, will serve as a co-CEO.
Appointments
Chantilly, Va., market research firm Input hired federal IT veteran Pete Janke as senior vice president and managing director of its Market Research and Strategic Advisory practice. Prior to joining Input, Janke was with Litton Information Systems.
Oculan Corp., a Raleigh, N.C., provider of network and system management services, appointed John Beletic as executive chairman of the board. Over the past 16 years, Beletic has served as CEO of Weblink Wireless, Pagemart Wireless and Tigon Voice Messaging Network, and is currently executive chairman of Scale Eight, an emerging data storage technology company.
Commerce One, a Pleasanton, Calif., enterprise software firm, appointed Narry Singh as senior vice president of marketing. Singh will lead Commerce One corporate marketing efforts. Previously, he launched several technology ventures in the business-to-business marketplace space, and has experience with companies such as Fujitsu and Gemini Consulting.
Oasis, the Boston XML interoperability consortium, elected four members to its board of directors. Edward Cobb of BEA Systems, Colin Evans of Intel, Patrick Gannon of Oasis and Laura Walker of the Federal Reserve System were selected by the Oasis membership to provide business leadership to advance Oasis as a major standards-setting body for Web services, e-business security and other applications. The consortium also formed the Oasis Technical Advisory Board, a group who provides guidance on issues related to strategy, process, interoperability and scope of Oasis technical work.
James Joyce, CTO of TechGuard Security in Chesterfield, Mo., and Millersville, Md., has been named co-chairman of the InfraGard executive board of directors, the cooperative undertaking between the U.S. government and an association of businessess, academic institutions, state and alocal law enforcement agencies and other participants dedicated to increasing the security of the nation's critical infrastructures.
