SAIC acquires key assets from Fusive.com
Science Applications International Corp.'s Global Telecommunications Group has acquired selected assets of Fusive.com Corp., SAIC announced Aug. 19. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. "The acquisition of these assets from Fusive complements our current contact center and customer relationship management expertise and enhances our customer care practice," said Bob Young, SAIC senior vice president and manager of the Global Telecommunications Group.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.The core capabilities that SAIC of San Diego acquired from Fusive.com of Birmingham, Ala., will allow SAIC to expand its focus on next-generation customer care, the company said.The acquired assets include specification and development of complex solutions, such as Web collaboration, enterprise integration middleware with workflow and customer relationship management."The acquisition of these assets from Fusive complements our current contact center and customer relationship management expertise and enhances our customer care practice," said Bob Young, SAIC senior vice president and manager of the Global Telecommunications Group. SAIC's Global Telecommunications Group acquired Fusive.com's resources in Atlanta, Birmingham, Ala., Deerfield Beach, Fla., New York and Phoenix.Fusive.com provides convergent integration to a variety of government and commercial clients. Convergent integration is the assimilation of voice, data and the Web to improve operations.
