Anteon reports second quarter profitability

Revenue for the second quarter of 2002 was $201.9 million, up from $188.8 million for the comparable period in 2001, a 7 percent gain. For the six months ending June 30, Anteon's revenue was $394.6 million, up from $351.2 million in first six months of 2001.
For this quarter, approximately 56 percent of revenue came from information technology and 44 percent came from systems engineering and integration, said Joseph Kampf, chief executive officer at an Aug. 6 briefing. The company has approximately $1.1 billion in bids outstanding.
