Rhode Island taps DataLogic for technical services
DataLogic International won a $10 million deal from the Rhode Island Department of Health for professional and technical services.
DataLogic International Inc. won a five-year contract worth about $10 million from the Rhode Island Department of Health for professional and technical services, the company announced June 27.
Under the contract, DataLogic of Garden Grove, Calif., will provide the department with professional staff who will distribute information to the public on a wide-range of emergency medical topics, including anthrax treatment and bioterrorism response.
In the same announcement, DataLogic said it has recently formed a department strictly focused on providing resource solutions to clients in the health care and clinical trial market segments.
The company has other state and local government contracts with Orange County, Calif., Houston, and the New York Fire Department.
DataLogic is a professional services company that provides statistical analysis system software consulting, telecommunications and wireless integration, value-added reselling and training and information technology outsourcing.
