The Washington, D.C., Office of the Chief Technology Officer needs an administrative modernization program that includes human resources, pension, payroll, time and attendance, benefits administration, procurement and property management. It also must represent industry best practices in business process and information systems. A request for proposal is anticipated in September. The expected value is $55 million.The Georgia Technology Authority, on behalf of the state Bureau of Investigation, wants to install and implement a hardware and software solution for a victim notification information system. The RFP is anticipated later this summer and is expected to be worth $1.3 million.The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Forensic and Victim Services, needs an interactive voice response system to manage calls made regarding the sex offender registry. An RFP is anticipated in the fourth quarter of this year.The South Carolina Department of Social Services, Division of Information Systems, is looking to develop, implement and certify a child support enforcement system. A request for quotes was issued in May. An RFP is expected in the third quarter of this year.The Georgia Technology Authority will re-issue the RFP for the Converged Communications Outsourcing Project, and will open the solicitation to new bidders. The new RFP is anticipated in August 2002 and the GTA still hopes to make an award on the project in April 2003. The expected value is $2 billion.
