Minnesota taps Tyler for court case management

Tyler Technologies Inc. has won an $11 million contract from the state of Minnesota for software and services to support a court case management system, the company announced July 16.

Under the contract, Tyler Technologies of Dallas will provide Minnesota with the company's Web-based Odyssey Case Management System. The system will consolidate case processing functions, such as imaging, accounting, calendar scheduling, reporting and forms merging.

In addition, Odyssey will provide the state with a central data repository, providing access to critical judicial information in a more timely and efficient manner.

Implementing the Odyssey system will start in six counties. A statewide rollout to all 87 counties will follow at an unspecified time, according to the company.

Tyler Technologies provides information management solutions and services to nearly 6,000 local government offices in 49 states.
