CACI buys Condor's government unit

CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., will acquire the government solutions division of Condor Technology Solutions Inc., the company announced July 10.

CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., will acquire the government solutions division of Condor Technology Solutions Inc., the company announced July 10.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to be completed in August 2002 after the approval of the sale by Baltimore, Md.-based Condor's shareholders.

About 80 employees will join CACI as a result of the acquisition, said Jody Brown, a company spokeswoman.

Condor's government solutions division provides professional services that include management consulting, strategic planning, interactive training and communications and call center support. Its clients include the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Guard Bureau.

The acquisition will enable CACI to expand its federal client base and enhance its existing government solutions, said Jack London, CACI's chairman and chief executive officer.
