Hadron wins NASA pact

Through its subsidiary, Analex Corp., Hadron Inc., Alexandria, Va., won a $163.7 million contract with NASA to provide engineering services for the Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support program office at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The ELVIS contract is expected to increase the company's employees to more than 550 and its revenue by more than $17 million annually over the life of the nine-year contract.

Joining Analex's team are Science Applications International Corp., San Diego; Swales Aerospace Inc., Beltsville, Md.; and a.i. solutions Inc., Lanham, Md.

The team will provide services such as managing, operating and maintaining facilities, systems and equipment, as well as some technical and administrative capabilities, such as performing safety and mission assurance functions. It also will provide communications, data and telemetry support.
