General Dynamics wins Canadian contract

The Canadian subsidiary of General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va. has won a $128 million contract the to supply and integrate a new data management system for the Canadian Department of National Defence.


The contract, valued at $198 million Canadian, will support the CP-140 Aurora, Canada's long-range maritime patrol aircraft, as part of the ongoing Aurora Incremental Modernization Project.


Under the contract, the company will supply a new mission computer, integrate upgraded sensors and provide ground facilities and logistics support.


Work will be completed in Ottawa and Halifax.
