Conquest Inc., Annapolis Junction, Md., won a $140 million contract expansion with a U.S. intelligence agency. Under the 3 1/2-year contract, Conquest will provide systems engineering and technical support for several initiatives to modernize the agency's systems capabilities.
The award comes after a five-year, $57 million contract Conquest won with the same agency to provide systems engineering and technical assistance support for the Trailblazer initiative. Although Conquest officials declined to release the name of its customer, it is well-known in the information technology industry that the Trailblazer initiative is a National Security Agency program.
Conquest said this latest contract win is the largest award in the company's 13-year history. The Boeing Co., Chicago, is Conquest's subcontractor.
