Established in 1995, Catnaz offers a line of Internet-based solutions. Soza was established in 1969 as an accounting firm. The company later expanded its business into information technology consulting, management consulting and financial services. It now has 800 employees.
The Catnaz acquisition will allow Soza to offer a broader base of technical capabilities, Soza officials said. Catnaz will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Soza and remain in Columbus.
In January, Soza, Catnaz and handwritten mobile Internet solutions provider Mi Corp., Research Triangle Park, N.C., formed an alliance to offer the state of Ohio electronic data capture technology that state law and health care officials can use to share handwritten communications in real time.
