John Spotila becomes GTSI president, COO
John Spotila has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of GTSI Corp. Spotila, who has been with the company for 13 months, assumes responsibility of the day-to-day running of the government reseller.
John Spotila has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of GTSI Corp., Chantilly Va., the company announced Feb. 6.
Spotila, who has been with the company for 13 months, assumes responsibility of the day-to-day running of the government reseller. He previously served as an executive vice president for the company.
Before joining GTSI, Spotila worked at the Office of Management and Budget as administrator for the office of information and regulatory affairs. Before that, he served as general counsel at the Small Business Administration.
Dendy Young, chairman and chief executive officer of GTSI, said Spotila's new position will allow Young to devote more time to devising strategy as well as meeting with employees, customers and partners.
