The government is the largest keeper of knowledge in the world; Convera solutions enable it to make better use of this knowledge and manage it more effectively. Currently, Convera's digital content management solutions are used by more than 120 public-sector clients. Our goal is to support every major government agency and Defense Department organization in some capacity, with deeper involvement and support for those with the largest and most challenging content management issues.A challenge we face is educating our audience on who we are and the breadth of solution we provide. Convera is the new company formed when Excalibur Technologies combined with Intel's Interactive Media Services division. Many government decision-makers are familiar with Excalibur; we need to help them connect Convera to their memory of Excalibur's excellent solutions and understand it's the same technology, taken to the next level.Convera is a company focused on growing and expanding its influence in the federal and state and local government marketplaces.
