Four Companies Win Joint Test, Evaluation Program

Four companies have been chosen to provide advisory and assistance service for the Department of Defense's Joint Test and Evaluation program, the Air Force announced Oct. 16.

The maximum value of the five-year blanket purchase agreement is $400 million. The four companies are: Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif.; Science Applications International Corp., San Diego; Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta; and Titan Corp., San Diego.

Services under the contract include data collection and analysis, task management, engineering analysis, financial management and administrative and presentation support.

The Joint Test and Evaluation program was established in 1972 to facilitate interoperability of service systems. Program projects involve two or more services working together in areas such as joint tactics, techniques and procedures.

Nine firms, all of which submitted proposals, were solicited for the blanket purchase agreement in June.
