Anteon Lands Logistics Contract at NIH
Anteon Corp. has been awarded a $16 million contract to provide logistics management services to the National Institutes of Health.
Anteon Corp. has been awarded a five-year, $16 million contract to provide logistics management services to the National Institutes of Health, at its Gaithersburg, Md., campus and several NIH locations across the United States. The contract was awarded under the General Services Administration's Logistics Worldwide schedule.
Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide NIH with automated inventory management services, physical inventory, property disposal and transportation support. The company will be teaming with New Year Tech, an 8(a) information technology and logistics management company in Vienna, Va., and Priority One Services, a logistics and transportation firm in Alexandria, Va.
Logistics modernization is a key business area for Anteon, said Joseph Kampf, company president and chief executive officer.
Anteon is a privately held company owned principally by affiliates of Caxton-Iseman Capital. With annual revenue over $700 million, Anteon employs more than 5,400 people in over 80 offices worldwide.
