Anteon Wins Navy Work

Anteon Corp. has won a five-year, $15.6 million contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center for computer systems operation and maintenance for ship combat systems.

Anteon Corp. has won a five-year, $15.6 million contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center for computer systems operation and maintenance for ship combat systems.

Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide operations, maintenance, requirements analysis, systems engineering, data management and related services for facilities that develop and upgrade ship combat direction systems.

The facilities, the Combat Direction System Development and Evaluation Site and the Program Generation Center, are located in San Diego.

Anteon also will provide configuration, systems integration and data management support for security accreditation at more than 40 facilities that are connected to the site where the work will be performed.

Anteon offers information technology, systems engineering, technology management and logistics modernization services. It has about 5,000 employees and had revenue of $547 million in fiscal 2000, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
