TASC Lands Intel Client

TASC Inc., a division of Litton Industries Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., won a five-year, $57 million contract with a U.S. intelligence agency to provide systems engineering and technical assistance support for Trailblazer, a major foreign signals intelligence modernization initiative. The identity of the agency was not disclosed.

The cost-plus award fee contract includes options to extend the contract for three one-year periods. The contract covers signals intelligence collection, processing, analysis and dissemination systems.

In October 2000, TASC won a $170 million contract with another U.S. government agency for related systems engineering and technical assistance. TASC is based in Chantilly, Va.

The TASC team includes Affiliated Computer Services Inc., Conquest Technology Inc., Litton PRC Inc. and Titan Corp.
