Last Round of Awards Made for STRICOM Omnibus Contract

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division in Orlando, Fla., has made the fourth and final round of awards for the Army Simulation, Training & Instrumentation Command's Omnibus Acquisition Contract, an eight-year, $4 billion training and simulation program.

Fourteen companies were named awardees for the Test-Instrumentation Simulation lot, which includes the systems, subsystems, components and devices used to test materiel, systems, weapon systems and training exercises. Also included are the sensors, telecommunications equipment and other materials needed to measure, collect, record, transmit and analyze the test data.

Three companies are new awardees. Advanced CounterMeasure Systems, Rancho Cordova, Calif., Research Analysis and Maintenance Inc., El Paso, Texas, and SPARTA Inc., Laguna Hills, Calif., were each awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract.

The remaining 11 companies won previous lots under the contract. These companies are: Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif.; GRC International Inc., Vienna, Va.; Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md.; Logicon Inc., Herndon, Va.; Motorola Inc., Schaumburg, Ill., Litton TASC, Inc., Chantilly, Va.; TRW Inc., Cleveland; Inter-Coastal Electronics, Inc., Mesa, Ariz.; Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga.; Universal Systems and Technology Inc., Fairfax, Va.; and L-3 Communications Inc., New York.
