DynCorp of Reston, Va., won a $3.9 million contract to administer and staff a new child support customer service center for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

The three-year contract also has two three-year option periods.

The call center will answer statewide inquiries from all custodial and noncustodial parents, employers and all other parties involved in the processing of cases being handled by the Nebraska Child Support Enforcement Unit, said Holli Ploog, president of DynCorp Management Resources Inc., the division that won the contract.

"We are pleased that the state of Nebraska has joined a growing list of clients who call DMR the vendor of choice in child support enforcement," Ploog said. The contract is the fifth the company has won in the past year.

The center will be located in rural Wausa and will employ about 30 people. Operations begin Aug. 1.
