Retired Brig. Gen. Earl Simms has joined Vienna, Va.-based Resource Consultants Inc. as vice president.

Retired Brig. Gen. Earl Simms has joined Vienna, Va.-based Resource Consultants Inc. as vice president. He will serve as the focal point for the company's information technology, engineering and human strategies business in support of its extensive U.S. Army client base. The company is a worldwide provider of integrated solutions.

Christopher Kelly has joined management consulting firm T.A. Carlson & Co. in Fairfax, Va., as vice president. He was formerly managing principal at Xerox Corp. where he headed federal business initiatives.

Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based QLogic Corp., a storage area network infrastructure provider, announced
that David Hubbard joined the company as vice
president and general manager of the firm's Switch Products Group. He was previously senior vice president of sales and marketing for Inrange Technologies Corp.

Minneapolis-based Datakey Inc., a provider of smart-card solutions, hired John Moroz as vice president of sales for its Information Security Solutions business unit. He will oversee worldwide sales for the firm's smart card business with responsibilities for direct sales and reseller/OEM channel sales. Moroz was previously vice president of sales and marketing for CrossWorks Inc.

Reston, Va.-based mindSHIFT Technologies, a managed service provider, hired David Paris as vice president of engineering. Paris previously spent 16 years at Electronic Data Systems Corp.
