DynCorp Management Resources Inc., a subsidiary of DynCorp of Reston, Va., has won its third contract to provide child support enforcement services in North Carolina.
The one-year, $1.5 million contract, which contains two one-year renewals, is with the Board of County Commissioners in New Hanover County, the company said Feb. 8.
DynCorp also provides child support services to Onslow and Beaufort counties in North Carolina.
Under the terms of the contract, which took effect in January, DynCorp will establish and maintain a full-service child support program in New Hanover from an office located in Wilmington.
Services that will be provided include establishing paternity, establishing child support orders, locating noncustodial parents whose whereabouts may be unknown and initiating enforcement proceedings for past or new support orders.
DynCorp also provides child support services in Kansas and Nebraska. The company announced Jan. 26 that it has won a three-year, $3.9 million contract for child services with Wausau, Neb.
DynCorp had sales of about $1.8 billion in 2000, according to preliminary statements from the company.
