Anteon Wins $115 Million in Military Orders

Anteon Corp. has received two task orders, valued at a combined $115 million over five years, under General Services Administration schedules for information and engineering services.

Anteon Corp. of Fairfax, Va., has received two task orders, valued at a combined $115 million over five years, under General Services Administration schedules for information and engineering services, the company announced today.

Under the first task order, through GSA's information technology services schedule and worth $97 million, Anteon's systems engineering group and 23 subcontractors will provide a range of professional and technical services to support Program Executive Office Surface Strike and the acquisition of the USS Zumwalt, the Navy's newest surface warship.

Services include supporting ship design in a total ship computing environment, system life-cycle engineering and logistics planning support.

The Anteon team will evaluate off-the-shelf software and hardware, test and evaluate ship systems and develop, acquire and integrate DD-21 combat systems.

The task order includes providing PEO Surface Strike with business and financial management process development and support for the Advanced Land Attack Missile and Integrated Power Systems program offices.

The second task order, a one-year, $18.9 million project through GSA's professional engineering services schedule, calls upon Anteon to provide a system integration and engineering services to several program offices within PEO Theater Surface Combatant.

The work includes analyses, plans, concept papers and project management for joint theater air and missile defense, modeling and simulation and command, control, communications, computers and intelligence projects.
