AMS, webMethods Expand Strategic Alliance
Systems integrator American Management Systems Inc. and webMethods Inc. have expanded their strategic alliance to provide end-to-end systems integration solutions to federal civilian agencies.
Systems integrator American Management Systems Inc. and business-to business software solutions provider webMethods Inc. have expanded their strategic alliance to provide end-to-end systems integration solutions to federal civilian agencies. Both companies are in Fairfax, Va.
Their partnership began with an agreement to provide a complete solution for integrating applications with the Defense Department. They were the first to offer the federal government an integrated platform to create a suite of e-government and e-procurement solutions, the companies said.
"We recognize many federal agencies are looking at re-engineering their enterprise in order to increase productivity and embrace e-government, hence the need for agencies to maximize existing infrastructure through end-to-end integration," said Zip Brown, vice president of the e-Government Solutions Group at AMS.
AMS and webMethods together will provide a solution that enables the federal government to integrate applications within an agency, with other agencies and with customers, said Al Fox, director of Public Sector Operations for webMethods.
