Then he worked at Sperry Corp. for 21 years as an engineer and manager on the Navy's Polaris, Poseidon and Trident strategic submarine programs, where he also built inertial navigation systems. Kalish's Apollo navigation systems are on display at the U.S. Air and Space Museum, and submarines still use systems he designed.At CSC, he served as vice president of the Transportation Systems Group with customers such as the Federal Aviation Administration, Coast Guard and Volpe National Transportation Systems Center. Kalish is recognized as an expert in developing advanced air traffic control systems and serves on the White House Commission Aviation Safety and Security.He also has managed CSC work at NASA and systems engineering and IT programs for the departments of Education, Justice, Energy, and Housing and Urban Development.To continue to understand and respond to the rapidly changing federal customers' mission needs and provide them with our most creative and discriminating solutions.
