Eagan McAllister Buys Telemetry Systems

AUG. 9 ? Eagan McAllister Associates Inc. of Lexington Park, Md., a technology, engineering, and program management support services company, acquired Telemetry Systems Inc., also of Lexington Park.



Telemetry Systems provides software development services for the Navy, including data collection and processing software and systems development support. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition brings 19 employees to Eagan McAllister.



The two companies have worked as partners on several projects in the past for the Navy. Doug Herndon, Telemetry Systems founder and president, will stay on the Eagan McAllister staff.



"Our customers will be the largest beneficiary of the combined companies," said John McAllister, president of Eagan McAllister. "Together we will be able to offer them a broader range of services and capabilities than ever before."



Eagan McAllister provides technology, engineering, and program management support services for the Defense Department, local government and private industry clients nationwide. The company employs over 700 people and has annual revenue in excess of $60 million.
