Epipeline Buys Federal Capture Group

JUNE 21 ? Atlanta-based epipeline Inc. has acquired the Federal Capture Group of Chantilly, Va. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Epipeline provides online sales management solutions for companies that sell to the federal government. Federal Capture Group provides market research and analysis to help government contractors identify business opportunities, develop competitive strategy and win contracts.
Epipeline will launch a new service this summer that provides industry news, contract histories, federal regulations and bidding forms and templates. The company is targeting sales professionals at companies that sell to the federal government.
"This acquisition will be a seamless transition for Federal Capture Group subscribers when our service is introduced later this year," said Phil Dolan, vice president of marketing for epipeline.
Epipeline plans to integrate Federal Capture Group into its organization. To illustrate that, Federal Capture Group President Joseph Cooper has been named vice president of research of epipeline.
"With our combined capabilities our customers will soon have access to the best technology, the best resources and the best contract opportunities available," Cooper said.
"Building on the top-quality research and thousands of contract leads that Federal Capture Group provides, epipeline will offer a turn-key solution for contract sourcing, management and collaboration," Dolan added.
