GSA Awards Millennia Lite Contracts

APRIL 21 ? The General Services Administration has tapped 20 companies as winners in the first two lots of the $20 billion Millennia Lite contract for information technology and systems integration services.



The winners now will be squaring off against each other to win work from government agencies seeking the IT services covered under the different categories or lots of Millennia Lite.



Winning a spot in Lot 1, which covers high-end information technology services, were:

Computer Sciences Corp. *
Computer Technology Associates Inc. *
GRC International Inc. *
New Technology Management Inc. *
QSS Group Inc. *
Sentel Corp. *
Sherikon Inc. *
Systems Technology Associates Inc.




Services in the high-end technology services lot include computer-assisted design, engineering and manufacturing, verification and validation, business case analysis, reverse engineering and statistical analysis.



Lot 2 covers mission support services such as software development and maintenance, facilities management and operations, network design and support, help desk services, integration and maintenance and electronic records management. Companies winning in this lot include:

Computer Systems Technology *

ITS Federal *

Two more lots are still to be awarded: information technology planning, studies and assessment; and legacy systems migration and new enterprise systems development.



The Millennia Lite contract has a $20 billion ceiling over 10 years and is designed for mid-sized projects of several million dollars in value and less. The contract is open to all government agencies seeking to buy the specified IT services.
