MetroBook Computer Corp., Chantilly, Va., has hired Wayne Hinson as chief executive officer. A computer industry veteran with more than 17 years of management experience, Hinson joins MetroBook after working more than seven years with NEC Technologies. MetroBook provides rugged, high-performance multimedia notebook computers to government and commercial markets.

Response Networks Inc., Alexandria, Va., has appointed software industry veteran Theodore Joseph as chairman and chief executive officer. Before joining Response Networks, he had held leadership positions at NetManage Inc., Relay Technologies, Bridge Builder Technologies, Microcom and Phoenix Technologies. Response Networks provides network management tools.

Intellisys Technology Corp., Fairfax, Va., has hired Tom Bragg as chief technology officer. Previously, Bragg directed software development projects as a consultant. Intellisys provides IT services and products largely to federal clients.

Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., has named Frederick Vollrath, former head of Army personnel, to the position of corporate vice president of human resources. Vollrath was a lieutenant general and deputy chief of staff for personnel for the Army from 1996 until his retirement in 1998.

Vista Information Technologies Inc., Herndon, Va., has named Dave Vest as vice president, sales and marketing. Vest, formerly a vice president of Digital Equipment Corp., will be responsible for the overall direction and management of the company's sales and marketing activities. Vista provides total network services to commercial and government enterprises.

STG Inc., Fairfax, Va., hired Phillip Foote as senior vice president of corporate development, and J.D. Wininger Jr. as chief financial officer. Before joining STG, Foote worked for Signal Corp. and Sytel Corp. Wininger most recently served as a business manager with DynCorp.

AAC Associates Inc., Vienna, Va., hired Gregory Allen as director of business development for both federal and commercial business lines. AAC is a designer and integrator of advanced information technology and telecommunications systems. Allen previously worked for TeleCommunication Systems Inc. in Annapolis, Md.

Integrated Systems Analysts Inc., Arlington, Va., hired Bruce Brown as vice president, combat and information systems engineering. Brown, who retired last year as deputy director for modeling, simulation and assessment at the Defense Information Systems Agency, had served as corporate technical director of ISA.

DynCorp of Reston, Va., hired Robert Parker as president of DynSpace, a wholly owned subsidiary that manages and operates the Virginia Spaceport at Wallops Island, Va. Parker will provide leadership and strategic management to the spaceport, which is a joint venture between DynCorp and the commonwealth of Virginia. Parker previously was vice president of plans and marketing for the United Services Automobile Association in San Antonio.

SRA International Inc., Fairfax, Va., hired Paul Derby as vice president and chief technology officer, SRA commercial sector. Before joining SRA, Derby served as a partner in Computer Sciences Corp.'s electronic commerce consulting practice. SRA also hired John Supplee as vice president of human resources, SRA commercial sector. Before joining SRA, Supplee was a partner and vice president of human resources for Computer Sciences Corp.

FutureNext Consulting Inc., Tysons Corner, Va., hired David Patterson as chief executive officer. Before joining FutureNext, Patterson was president of BDM/TRW's Integrated Supply Chain Solutions unit. FutureNext provides integrated information technology services for middle-market customers, companies with $50 million to $500 million in annual revenue.

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, hired Peter DiGiammarino as senior vice president for the technology applications sector. He is assigned with expanding the company's commercial Internet commerce business through internal growth, alliances and acquisitions. DiGiammarino previously was senior vice president and general manager of BTG Inc.

Integrated Chipware of Reston, Va., has appointed Todd Brackett as vice president of customer and engineering services. Most recently, Brackett served as division manager for the computer products group at Sparta Inc., a government contractor and systems integrator. Integrated Chipware builds software development tools for the production of high-performance applications.

Decision Systems Technologies Inc., Rockville, Md., appointed Eugene Kelly as deputy to the vice president of DSTI's Integrated Systems Group. The Integrated Systems Group provides complete information technology services to the federal government and commercial clients. Kelly was formerly a vice president at International Computers & Telecommunications Inc.
