Find opportunities — and win them.

A new platform gives the 441st VSCOS real-time visibility into 84,000 vehicles as part of a string of recent wins with the Army and Air Force.

The Air Force is now using Salesforce’s Missionforce software to help manage its $13.5 billion fleet of vehicles.

The 441st Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron has adopted Missionforce National Security to manage 84,000 vehicles at 389 locations.

The cloud-native software will replace the legacy fleet management system the Air Force has been using, the company said in an a release Wednesday.

“The 441st VSCOS is a masterclass in how a lean, mission-focused team paired with Salesforce can drive real global impact,” said Kendall Collins, CEO of Missionforce and government cloud at Salesforce. “By consolidating onto a single, interoperable platform with Missionforce National Security, the Air Force has turned fragmented logistics operations into a strategic advantage.”

The Air Force has deployed a suite of IL5-approved applications on Salesforce Government Cloud Plus Defense to manage its vehicle fleet.

The implementation includes Agentforce Public Sector to capture data and give Air Force personnel data on vehicles and what the company calls a 360-degree view of operations including vehicle needs, end-of-life timelines and predictive analytics. The software will also help with coordinating work orders and repairs in real time.

The Salesforce platform will also allow the Air Force to build customer, mission-specific applications and tools.

Some of the goals of the rollout include global visibility, streamlined asset logistics, better mission planning, greater reliability and a simplified budget process.

The Air Force project is one of several recent awards for Salesforce, including a $72 million enterprise license agreement with the Air Force to modernize personnel management and a $5.5 billion Army contract for access to Missionforce.
