Optiv+ClearShark hires new president
Daniel Wilbricht will continue the company's focus on building its public sector business.
Optiv+ClearShark has hired a new company president in Daniel Wilbricht, who will focus on the company’s public sector business.
The company was formed in March when Optiv acquired ClearShark in a move that roughly doubled Optiv’s federal business.
Wilbricht is succeeding Brian Strosser, who will remain on board in an advisory role to help with the transition. Strosser was the president of ClearShark when the acquisition occurred.
“The federal industry is experiencing a challenging moment in history, where agencies and contractors are facing an increased attack surface due to digital transformation, an extremely sophisticated threat landscape and an increasing volume of cybersecurity regulations,” Optiv CEO Kevin Lynch said in a release Thursday.
Wilbricht's public sector experience includes stops at several companies including Devo, Ivanti Public Sector, LogRhythm, Dell and Red Hat.
