Navy updates solicitation number for personnel contract

For small businesses tracking the Navy’s Enterprise Personnel Systems Engineering contract, the branch plans to issue a new solicitation number when the final solicitation comes out later this month.

The $50 million contract provides systems engineering, software engineering, and life-cycle support for information systems and tools for collaboration and information sharing on non-tactical applications. The contract specifically supports the Navy, Defense Department, foreign military sales efforts and other federal agencies. Services include design, development, testing, and implementation as well as sustainment and maintenance.

The new solicitation number will be N6600121R0013.

This is a follow-on to contracts held by Intelesis Technologies Corp. and Cognetic Technologies, according to Deltek.

Some of the technical requirements under the new contract include collaboration software, software engineering, web-enabled applications, geospatial information systems, database engineering and administration, data analytics, systems engineering, testing, systems administration and cybersecurity engineering.

The final solicitation is expected for release this month with an award in the April 2021 timeframe.
